About Us Welancora was founded in 2002 as an auction house specializing in fine art, prints, photographs, rare books and collectibles by artists of color.  In the intervening years, Welancora's role has expanded to include private sales.  In this area our focus is Modern, Post-War and Contemporary works of art.  As Welancora continues to grow our mission remains geared toward achieving maximum prices at auction, working with our clients to simplify the auction process, maintaining a high level of expertise in our field and, most importantly, providing excellent customer service.
